Hi All,
We are home. Before we left I was able to get my schedule with my next appointments. We will be leaving here on September 18th. My first appointment is on September 19th for a PET-scan. Then on September 20th I will have an appointment with Dr. Ross, an Oncology Surgeon. We will not know when the surgery will be scheduled until that time. It could mean another trip back home and then back to Houston. It will all depend on how far out surgery is scheduled.
Ken went back to work today having to only take yesterday as a vacation day.
We thank you for your prayers and support. We are at peace knowing that we are where God wants us to be at this time.

I'm so glad that you are back and it was wonderful seeing you today. It sounds like things are heading in the right direction and that headed in the right direction.

What a trip! So glad that you're both back home and now have a plan in hand that you're comfortable with (and believe me I'm using the word 'plan' loosely.) Phase 2 begins in what, 20 days? Absolutely amazing.
Have you signed up for any frequent flier discounts yet???
Just as an aside, the day you left for Houston at 4:45am, I was thinking of you as I shook Brian and James awake at the crack of eleven. Good thing you're not a teenage boy or you never would have made the plane in the first place.
